Transforming Generosity: The 2019 Pledge Campaign

Jesus, looking at the man, loved him and said, ‘You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” Mark 10:21

Dear Friends:

We love our church. That’s why we attend. As Episcopalians, our relationship with God grows through the worship we love, which inspires us. Are we ready to stand up for how God has blessed us and how All Saints North Shore extends that blessing to others by bettering lives within and beyond our community?

Sunday, November 18 is Gratitude Sunday. Parish members will get to stand up for God’s blessings and our beloved All Saints, to walk down the aisle, dedicate ourselves to God and place our pledge cards on the altar. For many, that simple act is a transcendent experience. Will you be among them?

Even as we work to wrestle down our deficit, our collective spirit soars in hope and love as we seek to serve, invite, welcome and embrace, and to put our faith in action, loving God by serving others. We can accomplish all this because of your support and generosity.

Our ambitious strategic plan, our efforts toward prudent cost-cutting, and the many improvements we have made to our building -- solar panels that have cut our utility bills dramatically; gas heat conversion for our greener footprint, a host of accessibility options including the installation of two outside ramps, a lift, an upgraded sound system and lighting in the sanctuary -- all have helped to radically reshape our church environment. More importantly, All Saints has sustained major advancements in the heart of our worship, ministries and mission to make us even more vital, active, and inviting!

Some 30 ministries ignite us into action as we respond to our needs and those in our communities. We’ve grown our parish and we have grown in understanding and action around the work of mission, living into God’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. So, join your fellow parishioners in our community pledging.

Please give prayerful thought to your pledge this year. Even $2 more a week makes a huge difference. For your convenience,  pledge online here: goo.gl/AwvjfW

Jesus calls us to take the long view. He challenges us to give all of ourselves to God’s righteousness and trust in God’s care. What a challenge! What transformation! Pledge and take your place in this transformative moment in the history of All Saints!

Faithfully,
