Wednesday, Sept. 26, starting at 6:30 p.m. All Saints of the North Shore, Danvers hosts a showing of the film documentary, "Armor of Light" which provokes viewers to thoughtfully consider the growing toll of gun violence through a moral lens. Join us as we view and grapple with the intimate discussions between the mother of a teenage shooting victim and an Evangelical minister as they find common ground together. Discussion with light refreshments follow. A $10 free will offering is welcome. Seating is limited, please call 978-774-1150 to reserve your place.
God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves – those who live next door to us, and those who exist beyond. On Sunday, September 23, bring at least one person to church whom we will honor as a good and faithful neighbor in a special celebratory worship service. And, after worship, we will invite our literal neighbors to join us in a barbecue block party (on the Cherry Street side of the church) to get to know them and continue the celebration of those honored during worship. Please join us.
A fun afternoon of animals and their people from the north shore, this annual event begins at Maple Street Church, where pets and people costume, and moves to All Saints North Shore -- following a parade through town -- where a costume contest takes place and pet vendors are available to provide useful info. Mark your calendars. This is a fantastic event and everyone's welcome!
